My designs & photos range from the fanciful to the mundane. All are valid in my eyes. From the simplicity of a sunset to the manipulation of food into a play thing. I learn and I teach.

My name is Dave.

From my humblest of beginnings winning a turkey-drawing contest at the age of five, through my years of doodling instead of taking notes in class, to my six years of technical graphic design for scientific research papers and reports, I’ve emerged as an artist. My tools are of the technological age, but my thoughts drift back to the Old World of my ancestors.

My love of Italy, Texas and nature should be quite apparent in my photography and my designs.
